Welcome to the BTACDian Library! This page holds an assortment of canon literature, anything from historical tales and lorebooks to stories, poems, and songs! You may use any of these IC as bound books or otherwise, and knowledge of them is widespread. We currently have 55 books in the library!
History Books
These are volumes chronicling true events that have occured all throughout the Realms' past. These books are often kept by historians and librarians alike, and may be found in many a household, bound in thick leather.

Legends
Legends are often historical volumes based on true fact, though twisted or embellished by the author to make them more appealing to any assorted audience. Some legends may hold more fact than others; however, any legend should be held under due scrutiny and not held as an accurate historical retelling.

Lore Books
Books that detail information found by scholars about species, magic, places, gods, and many other things. These are often kept by scholars, but may be found in other collections and libraries for the interested individual.
Assorted Prayer Hymnal I: Halgian Prayers
A unique, bound volume of prayers that holds several common prayers. This volume is dedicated to the Halgian Empire and their worship of Daama.

A unique, bound volume of prayers that holds several common prayers. This volume is dedicated to the worship of the Ten and Linath.
Beautifully bound, this tome holds pictures of the common constellations sorted by Realm, and the stories behind their creation.

Mythological Creatures: A Study
The thin novella bound by twine, displayed on the pages of handmade parchment. A traveling scholar with an interest in mythological accounts takes personal notes of particular encounters regarding various legendary creatures. Note that the accounts are incomplete; more notes are to be recovered and rebound into the volume at a later time.
A relatively thin tome that speaks of the secrets of the mind; the golden threads, mindscapes, and mindbeasts are all covered within.
A slightly iridescent book with information about the Realms' inner workings in it.
A large, illustrated tome with an unusually bound cover; the leather shifts hues like chaos energy, as does the ink. Otherwise, the book does not appear to be magical. Inside, information on the 'Rift' phenomena may be found.
A large book wrapped in leather that looks somewhat singed. It appears to have an actual Soulgem embedded in the bound cover; it swirls faintly with orange, red, and green. It appears to be guarded by some sort of undead creature.
Space, Stars, the Suns, and Moons
Said to be bound in starlight with enchanted pages, this book holds information about space, stars, the suns, and the moons of our Realm Spheres.
An extensive tome written by an enchantress based on the colors of emotion, as seen in creatures that display such as d'jini (fur color), sarka and leviathans (eye color), etc, as well as visual empaths.
Scripts and Plays
These are stories put into script format for plays and demonstrations; they may be based on true events, but are often complete fiction written for the value of entertainment alone.
A recently-recovered original manuscript of a classical Evylonian play, restored in part. Differences from modern adaptations intrigue those scholars who have had the opportunity to read it directly.

Songs
Songs written and sung by bards are common in the Realms, and are known by many with musical talent. Melodies may vary in lesser-known works, but they are created and spread by bards and minstrels, heard often in taverns and court plays alike.

A nursery rhyme known to many children of multiple races, based upon the legendary dragon George.
A ballad of a dragon and warrior, a beloved drake and a madman king. From where enemies clash and die, honor may always be found.
Beloved, Bring The Next Round!
A flirtatious, bragging shanty that is typically sung by tipsy characters while desiring the attention of nearby bartenders.
The fear-inspiring, chanting song warning all of the Death Kingdom's fearsome Demonic Reapers.
Poems
These books detail poems written across the years for a variety of purposes, by commoners and nobility alike. Some Realms - such as Kurai - may have specific styles that have been created, though most Realm poetry is distinctly freeform.
A sorrowful poem about the Onyx and Ruby Factions; written as a warning for what happened to the once-great Guild, and how the Gemstone Factions came to be.
A collection of poems written in the Kuraian style of poetry, called 'haikus' of the demon lands. Subjects range from common topics in Kurai to things unrelated to Kurai itself.
